Its a conspiracy i tell ya!!!

Our GP commented on our baby that he was cute and I replied that he probably says that to all new mums. He said no, when the babies are ugly, he comments that they look like their dads.

Ah, but you see my first son was very pretty too. In fact he was so pretty everyone kept calling him a her despite me dressing him in blue to try and stop it!

Haly - yes I told him. Luckily he's gorgeous now!

I do how ever think a lot of baby animals are cute ie. kittens, puppys, pigglets, monkeys :)

In comparison humans really got the short straw when it come to the cuteness of there babys.

When people came round to visit before they saw my youngest I used to say 'Be prepared, he's an ugly little bugger.'

Agreed - babies are butt ugly when they're born but give them a couple of months and they start looking cute (sometimes).
When my first baby was born I was looking down between the wifes legs and the head started to come out. It was the ugliest looking wrinkled face I'd seen and a few moments later I realised I was looking at the back of the head.
