or 2470 calories and no exercise but I recommend exercise coz it's great. Plus you're in liverpool mate, and you can go down the gym.

Uni gym = fit uni hotties
normal gym = fit scouser hotties.

anyway, good luck. Exercise and self control are the most important things when trying to lose weight. Or in my case, getting a really bad cold and then losing a bit of weight. Went from 12 stone to just under 11 stone.
 
Google maintainance calories...then put in your weight and thats what you need to maintain...

Drop 500 cals and youre sweet.
 
We need your weight, height, age, bodyfat % if you know it etc...

The amount of calories you should be eating in order to lose fat at a safe, non catabolic pace will be dependent on how much you weigh right now.
 
Are those first eBreasts, ManEBreasts? are they yours?

If you like exercise, you might not need to crash diet too. Just cut out junk food, (inculding takeaway curry :.(), eat healthily, don't skip breakfast ( will make you snack all morning), no beer.

If you keep "good" calories coming in your body will use them for exercise and not store them. I never count calories, it's way to dull, I just go carefull what I eat and find a happy balance. To get thinner I exercise more.

If you go to a good gym, they might have a personal trainer or a dietician who can help sort out a good diet.
 
if you want to cut down on the amount you eat - the best way to do it is cut down on portion sizes and perhaps look to having 4 meals a day instead of 3. your last meal should not be a heavy one.

as others have said.. the best way is a balanced diet and get plenty of exercise.

You'll need to start eating fruit and Veg, it will be very difficult to eat a healthy balanced diet and avoid fruit and veg.

Alcopops are packed with additional sugar so are probably worse than beers. I never cut out on beer, I just cut down, I allow myself 2 nights a week to drink alcohol, so If I fancy a beer I can have one. Just remember though that a pint of beer = one mars bar in calories. So if you fancy an 8 pinter, it's about the same as eating 8 mars bars. :(

One of the reasons that you can eat rubbish and get away with it it that you are still young. Untill about 30 the body can be quite forgiving, push it past that and it will start to push back.

Swimming and walking is all good exercise, and better than none, but you'll shift more weight more quickly by upping the intensity of the exercise. If you have trouble with exercise, and find it dull, find a sport that you enjoy... join a squash club or a badminton club.

Also how about making it competitive,

my other half is about to start a bet with her sister (twin) to who can shed the most weight before easter.. she's puttin £100 down with her sister, and to get my (and her brother-in-laws) support is putting down £50 each of our money too. Find someone in similar situation and get you wallet out.
