Ordered up some new plates the other day to replace the old, water ridden mess that were on the car.

It's amazing what a difference they can make to the overall look of a car :)

Quite a difference, don't you think?

More pics to follow :D

Yeah, everytime Ive bought a car ive put new GB style plates on and it really seems to make it look much better.

So, what do you guys reckon?

We're really happy with the car overall. Was a bit woried the 2l wouldn't be quite big enough but there's still enough poke to nip around town and it should be fine for the motorway crusing back to Swansea which is the main reason we went for the car.

Looks very nice. Im not a great fan of fake wood tho, unless you are an OAP.

I fitted new plates (www.fancyplates.com) to my old 306. Made a massive difference. Especially as the old ones had delaminated! The new plates also had no borders or wording on, which gave them a nice clean look. It also helped that I put them on with sticky pads rather than screws. :)

Don't forget the party size boot !! :D

I must admit I LOVE this car, he now has a name .. Barney :)

When we decided we were going to swap Dexy for a barge I honestly thought I would be hankering for her all the time but I don't miss her at all .. Barney is just soo god damn comfy !

Nice :)

What was the final price if you don't mind me asking?

£6,300 ... £2K trade in for Dexy and then we topped up the rest .. If we had been paying all cash we would have got a lot closer to £6K I think

Nice car, it's a real shame you debadged it.
Was done by the last owner, not by us. I wouldn't have bothered debadging. But at the same time I don't dislike it enough to bother buying new badges.

Seems like 'Barney' was very good value for money, its amazing how much car you can get for your money, just don't go to wild with the mods i think it looks great as it is (Wheels aside).

Mark

I'm not interested in modding the pants off him .. Just want a few " refinements " .. All BMW parts :)

Wheels/Angel Eyes and maybe Sports Bumper but that's it

Yer make sure you dont over do it with the mods and such, a car like that looks great as it is.

I would probably upgrade the alloys and the lights though, dont think I would do anything more.
