I'm failing to see the massive saving here. A bit of savvy shopping around gets you the same components (arguably better) for the same money, and you can certainly make it better looking than this. For someone getting in to PC's for the first time, no build experience etc. then I can almost see the logic (although I'd always encourage people to do it for themselves anyway), but otherwise this isn't anything amazing. £2500 would be a rip off.

EPIC DEAL IS EPIC!

A Titan X is £1100 from NVIDIA, the parts required to build the PC purchased seperately from OcUK cost £1050. That is £2150 in just components. Sure you could shop all over the place buying all the parts from separate suppliers and you will save yourself a few quid but even doing that to buy these components separate is going to cost you over £2000, FACT!

Then lets factor in:
- Built and warrantied for you by OcUK for three years with a two year collect and return service, that alone is worth its weight in gold.
- The CPU is pre-overclocked and guaranteed to run at advertised speeds and all configured for you
- One supplier, no worries about items going faulty and having to fault find and then send product back to different suppliers. you have an issue, OcUK come to the rescue, find the issue and resolve it.

Its a bloody awesome deal, its just a shame that some people are so blinkered and narrow minded to realise as such. :)

I suspect that he made the same error as the last guy who thought he could buy the parts cheaper, by pricing up the old Maxwell Titan X rather than the current Pascal model.

The fact is that the parts alone retail for over £2350 Inc VAT

I'm well aware this is the Pascal Titan, not Maxwell. Obviously the competitor link rules prohibit me from proving my point, but I could build an equivalent system for the same money, and it would look much better to boot. Sure, you need to shop around, but personally I don't see any issues with that. I do see the logic for some people here (piece of mind, speed of build etc.), but the word EPIC is being somewhat hyperbolic. All depends what your priorities are.

Totally off thread here but I have to compliment this man on his Titanium build.Dear God it's beautiful well done.Very creative.

Personally I'm an IT professional and a cheapskate, I would shop around I have spares comming out of my ears and can test / trouble shoot any issues.. However for most people it's much better to buy a prebuilt working system... Imaging you shop around and end up with an unstable system, or in 6 months it becomes unstable... There is a massive advantage in buying prebuilt for 95% of people even if it's potentially slightly cheaper elsewhere, I have had a few customer buy bits to build their own pc and had issues, I usually turn them away as it's not worth my time and trouble trying to find the issue...

I've built my own systems for many years but picked this up on the Black Friday deal and am very happy with it. A few reasons I'm happy with the prebuilt system:
1. It's all got the long pre-built OCUK warranty(3 years) including the TXP so the warranty on that is better than the statutory one from Nvidia.
2. If you're short on time these days - it's all done for you. This was the case for me.
3. No fear of putting your system together and something not working leaving you trying to diagnose what exactly is broken which is not easy if you don't have similar matching components to swap out with.
4. When you spec your own system you may end up paying a lot more than you think because you may end up buying all the best bits even though you may not even need them or some of the features when actually this is good enough. I was originally looking at a build in a £250 case but actually there was no need for that and this case is a good one for the money. My own spec would have cost me £4k plus when actually it wasn't needed so actually this saved me £2k :)

I found it a nice tidy install. I have swapped out the power supply but only because I had a Seasonic 860w platinum spare and might shove another TX in there later and the Gigabyte unit, which is still very good, is used in my old now non-gaming system.

Yeah, I am probably being overly harsh. You can see by my build in my sig I'm an utter perfectionist and and very fussy when it comes to aesthetics haha! If this system ticks all your boxes, I can certainly see the sense in it. It's certainly a good deal for the right person who is short on time and wants an air tight full system warranty with a company that is great to deal with.

Plus in gaming this is easily out performing your system.

Great deal OCUK and partners!!!

The 128MB L4 eDram also makes the 6700k kickass when it comes to gaming for single cards especially. I'm pondering the switch with the new bundle but think I'm sticking with my [email protected]...

I think you got it wrong

the i7-5775c has 128MB L4 eDram not the i7 6770k ( which has none )

the i7-5775c is a crazy gaming chip if you can get it to work properly and have DDR3L ram

ive had both its not without its problems

back on topic .. damm this build really really does tempt me.. but im custom watercooled so im like.. I need it watercooled which puts me back into the argument to just buy the XP alone instead and sell my 1080 hehe

but if a noob or somone who did not want watercooling.. this is perfect for the price

If i hadn't spent the same money on my self build rig just before xmas in a rush to replace a dead system I would have snapped this up.

I lost half my precious weekend building my current rig and while its been a long time since i build a PC and i do enjoy it, it would have been better for me to buy this.

OK the specs not quite what i wanted and i guess its a little louder as my rig is a 1080 hybrid and AIO CPU cooler, it would be a little more grunt (even if i can clock my 1080 to 2150mhz and my CPU to 4.7ghz.)

As for the price argument? whys it even a point of discussion? ok its a bolt it together system but even that is going to take what 2-3 hours with even basic testing, plus the warranty.

Then again some people complain about paying £2 for a coke in a pub while they sit watching Sky tv in a warm bar with people serving them because they can buy a bottle for half that else where. You pay for a service, and in this case not very much.

Hi,

Would it be possible to put a deposit down on a debit card and then pay the rest when I get my new credit card next week (i lost it on christmas eve...).

Also can someone recommend me a monitor for this system

Thanks
