Hey guys,

as the warm weather approaches I wonder how many of your pcs suffer from high temps? my room is in a very awkard area and the air supply is limited...

So how do you guys keep the air temps standard?

In the end whilst gaming I have to take the case of just too keep temps normal...

looking forward to hear all your ideas

thanks in advance

cheers..

There's not a lot you can do really, except probably getting a standing office fan to get the air moving:

My computer is right next to my window, so I whack the window open and bust out my fan. Helps to have decent air flow in the case too :)

i just take the side off, its been off since last summer, cba puting it back on, i also got a stupid temp probe from my fan controller that bleeps if the temp goes above 35C or something, annoying :/ i could take it out but it means effort

I just stress test my PC under hot conditions (ie. no case fans/heating on full) to ensure it is stable, anyone can get an overclocked PC stable at some silly clockspeed on a cold day with 5 case fans on full wack.

I have a few case fans on in my full tower, cpu temp never goes about 40deg C, even in summer.
Case temp never above about 35.

ill b e getting watercooling for the summer... only thing im thinking is what happends when the water is hot. the fans can only cool it to room temp at the max

Bought a mobile air conditioner last winter for a knockdown price. Best £70 I've spent on PC cooling so far ;)
