Its Hot

5 1/2 year old mobile AMD sempron 3000+

if i had this on my lap my right leg would melt because its RIDICULOUSLY hot underneath

what is this snipping tool you speak of?

Ah right! My old Intel Celeron laptop gets pretty toasty too actually, the older chips give out a lot of heat :p

Type it in the search bar it should appear if you have Windows 7, I'm fairly sure it's included in all versions.

Wish i never bought a custom pcb gpu now :(

Just thought I'd check on my room, it's toasty in there! Blackout curtains are closed and windows upstairs open to let air through as well!

Temps aren't as bad as I thought though, idle at least :p

I just took my headphones off after less than an hour of gaming and realised my computer sounded like a jet engine. The actual case was almost too hot to touch.

I have a tiny room and it has the hot water tank for the entire house in it. It's ridiculously hot in here. I'm going to have to do some serious air flow work, leaving the cover off for the time being.

I've noticed a 4-5 degree increase in temps on my rig too today. Was going to try lowering my voltage on my 4.4Ghz OC today to get the load temps down, but no much point if I'm not going to be able to gain accurate readings in comparison to a mild day. Ugh.

how much will one of them set you back though?

My portable aircon was £170 about 4 years ago. The only gripe you could have with it is the elephants trunk you have to put out the window, to get rid of the hot air generated..

26c here also, all windows open and a fan blowing onto me.

We complain about not having such good weather most of the time, and as soon as we have it, we can't handle it. :D

I guess I wont get much sleep also.

I dont run my gaming pc in my sig during this kind of waether.

My PC is in an .... . wait for it..... 'insulated' loft conversion.

Its warm during winter and a swedish sauna during summer.

Im lucky I got another old pc to use, during such weather.

X6 1055T @ 4Ghz w/ H50 - usually idle at about 35-38, load at about 45-48.

Today getting: idle about 45-48, load about 54-60 >.<

Ill whine all i want when we are used to temperatures of 10 degrees when its suddenly 20+ then back to 10 again doesnt give you chance to acclimatise, all you people saying man up its XX degrees here then you are probably used to that heat being in a hot country.

Roll on winter is all i can say! Ok in my pc room during the day, come later afternoon when the sun swings round and starts beaming through the window as thats when it gets hot.
