It's On! Floyd Mayweather - Conor McGregor **No discussions of illegal streams**

And according to mayweather it was him who was trying to get mma interested in doing something like this, so much for Mcgregor "going after" mayweather.

Press conference was awesome! Floyd looks rattled.
McGregor like Fergie with the mind games! The talk of throwing an elbow in there if he disrespects him... hahahahahaha, would be awesome!

Has Floyd always been like this in press conferences? He's awful, what's with the hard work chant all the time?

Doesn't have anything else to say it seems, he's no good on the mic and it probably doesn't help when 99% of the crowd don't like him, hence repeating his spiel over and over.

Pressers have been kinda disappointing. Seems more like they're just going thru the motions and the payday is all that's on their minds (duh?).

Mayweather right now should just shut up, let conor sell the fight as he is doing and humiliate the **** out of him on the night. He clearly won't out smart him in press conferences so he should just let conor do the work.

Talk of throwing an elbow, tbh I wouldn't be surprised, as a way out instead of getting humiliated any further. Like Tyson ear biting it will stop any damage and a DQ instead of a knockout.

I have no doubt the press conferences are rattling FM, it's not like he can kick off against an MMA champion, he just has to bide his time.

Would there be anything stopping Conor using kicks as his feints and setups, hiding punches behind kicks and kicks behind punches is common in MMA, could he not throw air kicks purely as a distraction technique? Get Floyd to react to something that was never intended to land.

There would be nothing stopping him from feinting, though i am sure he would get penalised if he actually kicked out, even if he was no where near landing and there was little intention behind it... not that it would matter. Those feints may work in a MMA match up but against a boxer, with boxing rules and a boxing ref, they amount to little more than an entertaining performance and a waste of energy.

A lot of people seem to suggest that Mcgregor has these MMA born wild cards up his sleeves but at the end of the day, this is a boxing match.

Depends on the rules of the commission. I've never seen anything about fainting a kick in the rules, but someone of Mayweather class would probably drop you with a 35 punch combination before that hidden punch even started moving. I'd imagine the ref would give a 2-3 warnings and then deduct a point. If you kept at it then a DQ or NC.

If Mayweather is 50% the fighter he was every time Mc lifts a leg he'll get pasted from one side of the ring to the other.

Settle down son ffs, you act like McGregor took a dump on your cornflakes and force fed you them.

If Connor kicked or elbowed Floyd he'd get absolutely ******, surely the lawyers were savvy enough to put certain clauses in the fight. It's a fight that's worth more than 1 billion dollars, I'm sure someone has dotted all the i's and crossed all the T's...

If ref is on the blind side then you could slip the elbow in a couple of times, Mayweather will cry like a baby though and I wouldn't be surprised if the ref has been paid off.

McGregor could bend the rules a little though and I belive the this is fight will be at just over 11 stone. In this case we could be looking at a big difference in weight. If it was me I'd stand all over Floyd's feet and rough him up.

If I had no intention of ever boxing I'd probably act the clown too. Hide behind the ref and play peekaboo or something daft. Kiss him, lick his face and genrally *disrepect him* every chance I got. Mayweather has been known to flip his lid and Yanks get upset when you *disrepect* them.

Coner isn't going to do anything silly like kicks or elbows*, but he might manhandle Mayweather across the ring when he keeps hugging.

Edit:

*Well, not deliberately, but experienced fighters have movement patterns hard-wired.

He might not get paid, but this is a sanctioned fight. You can legally kill someone in the ring between bells.

Of course there are clauses in the contract as he could end the fight with a couple low-kicks. No way he would dare risk all that money just to save face. Also if anyone is going to be dirty it'll be Floyd. He has a history of it and is way more likely to get away with anything nefarious. Conor will be crucified if tries any of that **** as he's the one who can actually fight.

Now he can use it to his advantage with weird ass feints, etc, but he's never been a dirty fighter.
