It's On! Floyd Mayweather - Conor McGregor **No discussions of illegal streams**

Why am I now starting to believe the hype!? I almost think Connor has a good chance....

It is being sold to perfection. Literally no one I know or coming up on my social media circle thinks this is going to be anything other than a Conor win. It's baffling to the point I doubt myself. That I'm missing something.

Boxing will be on its knees if that happens and this kind of circus will keep on happening.

That's what it is for me. Months ago I knew this would be nothing but 50-0 for FM but now with everyone beliving the hype of Connor I do not know.

The bookies are cashing in on this one big time. The odd checking sites have a fairly large portion of people betting on Mcgregor.

Wouldnt surprise me if Mayweather goes for UD just so that there is a rematch at a later date where people can go 'CM almost did it last time and now he has a year of boxing under his belt, the ever ageing MW will get rocked', where the reality is that it was a 12 round point counting match.

People to trust in predicting sport events:

-The bookies
-The ex professionals
-The current professionals

People not to trust:

-Promoters
-The fans
-Raw stat sheet with no context

I think Conor does better wearing his sharp suits, like at the Toronto event. I think he was a bit over the top last night going shirtless, it was a bit too egotistical, and that's saying something for McGregor.

I saw Sylvester Stallone on video last night saying "Conor is a good fighter. But honestly? I think Mayweather will be facing 1st degree murder".

There's a Family Guy sketch for every occasion. :D

Lol, perfect. Completely incoherent, just like Floyd Sr. :D

I really can see Conor winning this. Think people underestimate his boxing. He's got the reach too and might just sneak a strike in that'll stun Mayweather. One thing I can't see is Mayweather getting a KO on Mcgregor. I think he'll play defensive and look to win on points even though he's talking up the idea of a KO. But really though who knows.

If he was going up agaisnt Khan, sure. But this is an ATG he is going up agaisnt who has made established boxers look average at best.

I am also of the opinion that I can see an upset happening but that's only cause of the ammount of noise CM fans are making.

A boxer's punching power is measured in PSI. I would love to know what that PSI is for each fighter. As a legit boxer, one would assume Mayweather to have a substantially more devastating punch than McGregor. If Mayweather does get a punch in to McGregor face or chin, it might be the hardest McGregor has ever taken.

That reach advantage completely eclipsed by the fact that Mayweather is built like a boxer and is use to fighting against boxers in a stance built for boxing. Mayweather is a top professional, i dont see the reach being a huge factor, especially considering his fitness and agility

I wont discount Mayweathers ability to KO. We may not see it in normal matches but against Mcgregor where there is a significant possibility of him getting gassed after a few rounds, it dont doubt Mayweather will let go of an opportunity to cause damage. Mayweather likes to play safe but i think he will have more safe opportunities to cause damage than any match he has had since fighting Hatton.

Doubt it, when you account for the gloves. Also think of the pressure exerted from an elbow to the face!

I wonder what guard McGregor will use? The old video I saw of him sparring wasn't very convincing as he wasn't boxing (perhaps it was intentional?).

I must admit that I am loving the hype and the war of words, McGregor is superb at that :D

Is it likely this will be shown in bars? Or do they limit that in a bid to grab more cash off individuals?

Those PPV events is where the big money is!

It will only show in the bars the can afford the silly price they set for it. The price depends on the premises (number of TVs, capacity). The bar has to pull in some real cash to make these events worthwhile as many clear the pub after the fight. LV big fights do well here as the time different lets the pub have good business all night. Some pubs can easily make the cost worth it and refuse, as some fights tend to get the rowdier types out and the extra sales are not worth the trouble.

showtime have blocked people from watching the london press conference ? makes no sense why would they do that

Really? Damn. Well there's some other sites that say it can be watched on their site.

"The unofficial word on the street is that the event won’t kick-off untill 8.30pm now, with Mayweather only just leaving his hotel and en route to Wembley Arena now. "

"There are whispers behind the scenes that McGregor has overslept after his flight from New York and is running two hours behind schedule."
