Most of the pros think this is going to be a landslide for Mayweather.
Heard one put it 'it's like Usain Bolt taking on Mo Farah at the 10000 meters'
Mayweather has been doing this since he first put on gloves as a kid. He's had 49 fights and never lost against legends of the sport.
This is Connors first boxing fight.

I can also see Mayweather stopping Connor late on with a bodyshot, after he's downloaded Mcgregor (rounds 1-3) and then started to pot shot him and slowly wear him down.
What I can't see happening is Mayweather winning early by KO. Say what you want guys but the first few rounds will be very interesting to say the least and I can see Connor have some success. The longer it goes on the worse it will get for mcgregor imo.

My worry is Mayweathers chin after 2 years out. Tyson said many times although he kept himself in tip top shape he wasn't ready to take punches even in sparring after a few years out the ring. He's also much older.
Both have come across as scum bags, but I'd rather Mayweather humbles him to stop this nonscence continuing. It won't happen but a 60 second mayweather win would be perfect to end it.

Urgh, watched the weigh in and McGregor's tyrade of abuse at Floyd had me reeling, I know it's boxing - but urgh, what a chav scumbag.
I think Floyd will win - he's such a master tactician, I'd be amazed of McGregor could go in there and KO him.

Mayweather stops him within 7, either tko or corner throws towel in.
Conor's only chance is a knock out and frankly don't think he has the power to hurt floyd. In fact after a couple of rounds feeling out I expect floyd to be the aggressor.

At the final press conference, Mayweather expressed (genuine or to make himself look better) respect for McGregor as a fighter, whereas McGregor continued his embarrassing "I'm gonna **** him up".
I don't know how much of McGregor's over the top loudmouth insults are just showbiz and how much is genuine belief. He's been this cocky in MMA fights and ended up winning, except for the first time he fought Nate Diaz.
And if the fight is over in 60 seconds, there'll be a lot of very unhappy people. Unless it's McGregor who wins in 60 seconds, then there would be real shock and surprise.

(I'm an absolute nobody, as far as boxing knowledge goes) however;
I've watched so many of Mayweather's fights, and if there's one thing that guy is an expert at - it's not getting hit, he's a very good looking guy for a reason - he barely ever gets hit, the master of defensive boxing and counter punching, he has this amazing way of letting punches roll up his body by shouldering them off, it's amazing to watch.
I suspect that McGregor will get frustrated at not being able to land anything clean on Floyd - coupled with Floyd's trademark counter punching which just frustrates people into making so many mistakes;

The only advantage I can think of with Connor is that because of his style isn't classic boxing, that is the only surprise he has in his bag, the unpredictability of his punches.
If mcgregor wins the amount of backpedaling in this thread will probably be enough to circle the earth a few times. Not gonna bother watching it as 4 or 5 am (just to suit the american audience) is taking the ****.
it actually really annoys me that people are on the McGregor hype train thinking he has a chance

He really does have no chance, Mayweather would have to make a huge mistake to even get hit cleanly, nevermind anything else.
McGregor is great at what he does, but it's really like asking a top rugby team to play against a top football team, at a game of football - only one outcome.
It'll be an interesting watch though.
Edit: just to add, as with any fight, I do think McGregor has a puncher's chance, which is what makes it a contest to start with, but I can only see it going one way. Even if he started well, he'll be knackered in no time.

They're quite literally going to try and knock each other unconscious tonight but a little bit of abuse has you reeling? What.
He's going to tire faster throwing just punches with much slower overall movement as opposed to the quicker movement of maa, and throwing punches, kicks, elbows, knees etc? Hows that work exactly?
