It's On! Floyd Mayweather - Conor McGregor **No discussions of illegal streams**

He's known as one of the best boxers of all time with a 49-0 record if it helps ?

Thanks for the info, it would be news if it didn't come out of mayweathers mouth every time he opened it ;)

It a boxing match. How is not being a boxer going to help? Trust me the most dangerous man in that ring by a long way is Mayweather.

Mayweather can really punch. The thing is Mayweather likes to do as little as possible to win while taking the minimum risk. The more risk a fighter poses the less Mayweather will let his punches off. The problem is McGregor will probably offer very little in the way of risk.

It can help as it will be a style he's not competed against before obviously, its hard to train for the unknown. He's had 49 fights against boxers, all with their own quirks but still a boxing style to some extent, this could be something very different. Not long to go now anyway.

As for Paulie, this is someone who is retired and just came off a plane, he knocked him down...it isnt a big deal. That big left of Connors didnt tho.

If McGregor can't stop an out of shape retired 10 stoner over 12 rounds while close to light heavyweight that says a lot about how hard he hits.

Being terrible isn't going to help.

That and the risk he does have (the overplayed left) he will see a mile off.

Credit where credits due, he does throw his left well. Very little tell or wind up in the punch, in fact similar to how mayweather throws the right. The power is certainly overplayed, ge landed it flush on Diaz numerous times and wasn't even close to stopping him. He landed it on Alvarez over and over and couldn't ko him. Aldo fair play but he leaped into the punch and was caught cold, but nonetheless was a KO. He simply doesn't have 1 punch KO power in mma, like say for example dan Henderson, and in boxing with bigger gloves and guys who roll with the shots (mayweather arguable the greatest ever at it) his power will be non existent.

What all of the 10 seconds of sparring? And what does the workout prove? He should have come out and rolled 30 minutes of jiu jitsu.

Unless McGregor has been holding back and deliberately trying to look like a bum, I think he should stick to rolling around.

Everyone says Floyd hasn't seen McGregor's style but then McGregor hasn't been restrained by the boxing restrictions. He hasn't even been using a boxing stance or guard :-/

You don't set a stance really. The only time to plant your feet is to let off with everything you can put behind a shot or trying to bluff the other guy into throwing. But it's risky.
