It's On! Floyd Mayweather - Conor McGregor **No discussions of illegal streams**

Good to see McGregor get beat he was really believing his own hype just because he knocked a few guys out in MMA. Maybe he will be more humble now and stop believing he can beat anyone. Same for all his fanboys on twitter and YouTube etc that have been mouthing off for months that he will ko floyd lol

its that hype he gives it before the fight that makes him a big draw, he's always humble after, win or lose, have you not seen his fights before?

Yea, they should let a guy clearly spent, offering no defence or punching back carry on taking headshots until they're left with brain damage.
exactly, we have seen way too many fights with horrific endings due to dodgy refs. It was stopped at the right time, Connor was offering no offense at all.
People cant use this as an excuse, Connor was **** poor after round 3.

McGregor could've extended that fight if he offered a defence, most of the final shots from Mayweather missed as McGregor's head movement was still half decent and Mayweather wasn't as composed as he usually is.

Good stoppage against a fighter that didn't have the experience to protect himself.

I was just surprised he went all out in the early rounds when mayweather would simply duck and weave most of his shots. When you're fighting a boxer who traditionally avoids 80% of the shots against him why would you go all out early when he's at his freshest. Anyway average fight in the end mayweather showed his class and lets be honest it was the best result for boxing.

Mayweather looks like hes ready to hit the town partying now

More like his warm up spa is finished and he's ready for a proper fight now.

Joke fight, not surprising, Mayweather has for donkeys years stretched out fights for money. If he won every fight in 3 rounds he wouldn't get a 300mil purse on a fight. People like and are excited by those rare fights which finish in 30 seconds or 3 rounds, but it also makes people less willing to spend $100 as it was in the states to buy it, getting all the boys over to watch 30 seconds of a fight is just not as good as watching a brawl over 9+ rounds. Mayweather did nothing for 2 rounds, just was seeing what Mcgreggor can do as well as letting him get tired because he knew he'd have nothing after 3-4 rounds max. Then he was just dancing and putting on a little bit of a show to make sure he won easily on points but the plan was to do enough to win the points but not enough to make the fight look entirely one sided. Then Mcgreggor started being a ****, a few low blows, the constantly trying to turn a clinch into grabbing him from behind and repeatedly hitting him in the back of the head. It made Mayweather start throwing bigger punches earlier in the fight, took a couple of rounds that absolutely ended Mcgreggor. Then he had him on the ropes and decided to string it out a little longer, his reaction and anger went away and he let him up more, then when his legs were completely gone and there was no more rounds to be had he ended it.

This is classic Mayweather, Mcgreggor wasn't close to in this fight, people who paid for it... lol.

Incredible list of champions Mayweather saw off in his career

Some of which he schooled

Canelo
Gatti
De La Hoya
Maidana
Shane Moseley
Cotto
Corrales
Hatton
Pacquao

Mcgreggor, thought he was close, it was 100% one sided and tiredness comes from being punched, maybe he doesn't get that. He wasn't throwing ANYTHING when the fight was stopped and he hadn't landed with a power punch in what, 4 rounds maybe.

He 'wobbled' back to the corner 3-4 times and he didn't come out with more energy or anything. Lots of fighters get properly knocked out and are able to give a fine interview 5-10 mins later... but lol, he thought he was in it, maybe when he watches it over he'll change his mind.

I'm sure his pay cheque will make him care about how badly etc people think he did.....

Fair play to them both, they both took home large quantities of money for a fight most people knew in their heart the result was always going to be.

Judging by the replies it's clear some of you have never followed him in UFC. Bigging up the event and getting his fans hyped is his forte. If he had a chance it was going to be in rounds 1-4. After that, it was going to turn into a technical boxing masterclass, which it did.

Fair play to McGregor for stepping into the ring with Mayweather. Looking forward to his return to the pentagon.

McGregor has always been humble after defeats, nothing new there either.

Corr... These walls of absolute nonsense. As I said, 10 rounds with TBE and landing more shots than manny.

Like or dislike the guy that deserves credit.

This ^ also there was a point in the Pacquaio fight where I looked around the room and out of six of us, I was the only one awake! At least this was more entertaining.

Both bets for me are done.

McGregor inside 4 by KO/Mayweather on Points.

Can't see anything else happening

I can also see Mayweather stopping Connor late on with a bodyshot, after he's downloaded Mcgregor (rounds 1-3) and then started to pot shot him and slowly wear him down.

What I can't see happening is Mayweather winning early by KO. Say what you want guys but the first few rounds will be very interesting to say the least and I can see Connor have some success. The longer it goes on the worse it will get for mcgregor imo.

Went pretty much as expected, Mcgregor with some early success and then as he starts tiring he gets taken to pieces. I gave Mcgregor the first 3 rounds but from round 4 he appeared to start tiring rapidly and it was all downhill. I think he will regret not really going for broke early on, he tired far too quickly for my liking and I was disgusted with him just laughing it off at the end in the interview after all that talking he did.

We all got to see evidently how an MMA stand up fighter (even if he has a 'huge left' that puts people to sleep) is completely and utterly not on the same level as a boxer when it comes to the discipline of boxing. Mayweather looked like the big puncher in there, not Mcgregor.
