Time to mod my tsunami case for that beasty then :). Also the price seems right off as ati stated the launch price for the X2 was going to be $599 which is a lot less then the price that article states.
 
Having just had a good look at my case i think what i will do is remove the hdd cage get some 5.25" convertors and put the hd's in the bigger bays and that should give me plenty of room for it :D.
 
OMG that is huge :eek: wait a second, we have not seen the size of nvidias cards yet (of course) I bet they are going to be huge

Why?

List price 5870 = $399

List price 5870x2 = $599

Two 5870 in xfire will cost you $200 more = £153.00

Of course this assumes you have the room in your case........:p
 
I doubt i would have room tbh, it would be a tight fit. If they made a 5850x2, i'd get that because it would be smaller.
 
I thought I would get the 5870 vapor-x but I am not so sure now [drools]

edit: Cant even type thinking of that beast of a card
 
assuming you can fit the X2 in the case, I bet some people go X2 crossfire :eek: if so i want some monies :mad:
 
OMG!! how big is that card??? DAMN!! :D I am smiling big time. I really do hope that fits in my Antec 1200 :D Virsu2k stay away hahaha (he's probably getting sick of me now :p)
 
I've just read a forum post from a reputable water cooling company. here are the posts:
