Hell yes.

I have great memories as a kid sitting on the kitchen side eating pancakes while my dad reeled off one after another.

Sugar and lemon juice is all I need :)

It's the only time I'll ever add 'pancake' to a poll.

Hmmmmmmmmmm........

Pancakes are nice with good old fashioned lemon and sugar. But another really good ( but bad ) one is to pop in some pie filling and top it off with whipped cream. They are also really good with savoury fillings.

Pretty unorthodox flavour pairings, but I've got this in the fridge and will try tonight. Thanks for the tip.

had about half a dozen for lunch. Most with sugar and lemon, a couple with single cream and sugar. Feel a bit queasy, having eaten too much, but they were very tasty

Doing galletes later on. Some nice melty cheese, ham, in my case a runny fried egg on top, then folded and munched.

After a couple of those, yeah , lemon and sugar to follow.

Yeah also my lads 14th so he wants a Pizza dinner, that and pancakes will be a bit too much for us!
Used to be a place in Norwich called Pizza one pancakes two.

Could have savoury pizza and sweet pancakes, savoury pancakes and sweet pizza, ot just pancakes or pizza. Fabulous place.

Sadly closed down several years ago. :(

Just need to rage a bit. Partner bought some ready made 'The Make Yourself at Home Co. Pancakes' mix for tonight. Never used ready made stuff and wasnt keen on the idea, but was working late so wanted a bit less faff.

It was hand-down the worst batter mix I have ever seen in my life.I have no idea how they've screwed up pancake batter so much. I put less water in than advised, and it still came out like water. The batter just wouldn't cook no matter how long you cooked it. Pack suggested 1-2 mins. I left it for 5 and it was still raw in the middle - just a thin outer burnt layer that slid off when poked. No way in hell to flip, spatula or generall move it about - it just became a jellatinous mess. Didn't get a single pancake out of it.

Actually not one to moan generally, but this has really peed me off tonight TBH. Been thinking about pancakes all day. Partner tried to do a good thing but now I can't help but feel annoyed that she paid money for this utter crap. I even signed up to Iceland's website to leave a 1 star review, which is awaiting approval.

Cool starry bra I know. But I just needed to rage...

We actually had a tub of that left in the cupboard from years ago. I made proper batter this morning but it didn't make enough pancakes so the mix was dragged out to make extra ones. It was exactly as you've described, bloody awful. I don't really know it came to be there but we'll never get anything like it again.

The situation has been redeemed tonight. Home made batter done this morning. Cooking perfectly, no sticking etc. I am happy now.

Tried making some tonight but my fraudulent Joe Wicks non stick frying pan thwarted me. Was planning on making a chocolate swiss roll pancake and a peanut butter, chocolate spread and banana pancake :(
