Its snowing

Had a bit of a blizzard most of today but due to mass rain this morning (pelted it down got soaked on the way to work) it found it hard to settle, but by 3:30ish today it was finally clearing up so it may settle this evening? If it snows??

Hoping as much.
 
Some large amounts of snow earlier in Northumberland, but stopped around 2pm. It is damned cold, would be surprised if we don't get a nice covering of snow this weekend.
 
Had a crazy blizzard here this afternoon, very high winds lots of hail and snow which turned everything white but it lasted only around an hour or so and then it was blue skies and no wind again, just keep getting the odd snow and hail shower now.
 
BBC five live were saying some schools would be shut tomorrow because of the forecast. I remember having to go into school with more than half the teachers missing and having to wait until lunch time to see if any others would manage to get in before being sent home!
 
The wind up here last night was bloody atrocious. Sticks and all sorts were slamming into my bedroom windows all night.
 
That's calculated assuming it's liquid ;) they can't forecast how big the flakes are going to be which could decide if it's deep or just a dusting.

Either way, snow is snow :p
 
Predicted snow for between 9am and midnight tonight here, but nothing as yet, and I'm not expecting any either, tbh.
