What a glorious day!

Dug out my shorts and t-shirt to go out on the bike for some shopping, first time I've been able to do that for months.

Also put the summer duvet on my bed and stored away the electric blanket.

So nice to feel the sun on my legs and arms again, long may it continue.

Admittedly the most indoor physical exercise I've done in the past two days of this "heatwave" is carry four trays of food shopping delivery upstairs to our first floor flat and unpack them, but despite our lounge termometer reading27.3C currently, it's felt unusually comfortable with the pedestal fan on setting 1/2.

Maybe because we haven't opened the windows and loft hatch as normal when heatwaves come?
The low humidity reading for our lounge of 46%?
I've been invaded by the ghost of astbestos Robfosters?

Lovely 90 minute ride yesterday evening through and beyond sunset, must have still been approx 15C at gone 2100... Unlike last week!

Woke up in sweat in April earlier today.

Room temp hit 26C. Currently 22C almost 5am, in April. Blue sky all day no wind, not even a breeze. Its July and calendar is broken.

One extreme to the other this year so far.

Jetstream must be above Scotland or something. O_o

I face West the worse direction. Sun afternoon till it goes down when its hottest. When I walk to east side of building its such a noticeable difference.

Checked the thermometer in the room at 8am and it was 25c that's likely gonna be 30c + in a few hours , mainly because no let up from the sun beaming down on the roof and walls all through the day
