It's too hot :(

It's done nothing but rain and flooded places I have never ever seen flooded in my whole life of living here.

Water was over the kerb today and covering the pavement outside my apartment. Must have been 5" deep and rushing down the road.

Really don't understand how some people prefer this over warm, sunny weather. Crazy folk. :p

Light showers here this evening, thankfully nothing at work today. Had £300.00 worth of paint washed off by one freak shower last week. Had to spend ages cleaning it up.

The rain this past 7 days has been ridiculous, it's of typical April shower downpour but just relentless in duration.

I drove into Brum yesterday morning and the A38 before spaghetti junction was flooded at over a foot across both lanes, with one lane blocked by an MX-5 that had got half way through and conked out. I drove back the other way in the afternoon and not only had all the water gone but the road was dry with no sign of rain. Crackers.

And now it's ****ing ****ing it down again, proper relentless downpour. If I didn't live at a reasonable altitude I would be worried about flooding this summer like a few years ago (2007 was it?)

In a couple of months they will probably be moaning about droughts because we've had the "wrong" sort of rain.

This weather is driving me nuts, the forecast is changing almost hourly. It's making planning any decent ride outs on the bike a right pain and also means I'm constantly carrying a full set of waterproofs and spare gloves all the time!

Looks not bad over the next couple of days here, some rain in the mornings and later evening but warm and sunny throughout the afternoons.

Rubbish nights though, can't sleep without the window open at the moment but then get woken up at ~5am by the birds.

When I went to the gym this morning at 06:30 the temperature was reading 28 celcius and should be hitting around 40 by lunchtime.

Finish work at 14:00 so ill be jumping in the pool when i get home :D

We havent slept with a duvet for the last 3 weeks and most likely won't again now until october/november.
