It's too hot :(

I like the sun and tan up well, but I'd still prefer it to be a lot cooler than it has been in London this past couple of weeks.

A couple of somewhat ghetto tips for cooling down if you don't have AC or loads of fans:

Submerge your wrists in cold water for about a minute, for whatever reason this works really well in cooling your overall body temperature, and it can be done pretty much anywhere in very little time. I've been using this method and it really works, from uncomfortably hot to feeling nicely cool in a couple of minutes.

Use a spray bottle to dampen closed curtains over open windows, any incoming breeze will be cooled by the water. I haven't resorted to that one yet, but it was used a lot throughout history in pre air conditioning days by all accounts.

Here's what it looks like out doors in the sun for you people hiding inside with AC and fans

FFS, I've had to close my door (housemate is doing a good job with his date, or she is a very good actress), so no through-breeze :(

:( lucky sod living by the sea. would live to go sea swimming ever afternoon.
I live on the south coast and we generally get the beaches to ourselves unlike the north coast which gets absolutely rammed with holiday makers. 30 minute walk or a few minutes in the car and I can be at a number of beaches
