It's too hot :(

My new build has been over 28c for days. It hit a record 32.4c on Tuesday.

Earlier as I was leaving for work, I looked at the living room temps and it was 26c with the window opened all night. Either way it was glorious to see.

On the way to work with a thin jacket now as it is currently 15c with highs of 25c later, except it’ll be cloudy all day.

New build taking a long time to cool back down. Fans in the windows blowing wonderful 17c air in but bedroom still 26c. Definitely getting Aircon installed for the next heatwave.
I have the same issues. Got home last night and it was nice and cool out. Looked at the living room temps and it was 28c despite the windows being open. There was no breeze until much later around 10pm.

Aircon being purchased in Jan-Feb for sure.

My property was built in 2009. The three storey homes on the estate all have their windows/skylights open. It must be incredibly hot up there with roof insulation by your bedroom.

Have a loft myself (top floor flat with a pitched roof) and the insulation is 25cm thick!

I found the humidity made last night worse than the night after the heatwave. Go away 70% humidity.

Yeah the humidity is what makes the hot weather suck in the UK. I have a relative in far east currently, said 25c is nothing, it was 43c where they were. I said, 25c with 75% humidity is absolutely a horrible sweaty mess, while 43c with only 12% humidity is basically drier than a nuns....

My Perfect Draft beer machine has finally got itself down to 4c. Put a fresh keg in on Monday night, usually takes an hour a degree but it’s been struggling. This is the real problem.

It was a very fine drizzle on the school run, like really fine. I didn't bother with a coat, neither did my boys. By the time we got to school it was really coming down. They were soaked but loving it. By the time I got home I was drenched.

It was lovely.
