Also, wasn't it the same clowns that said (in September 2013) that we would have three months of snow over winter? :p

However had the temps have been a bit lower, we certainly had enough wetness to have caused serious problems if it had come down as snow.

They were taking the most extreme of every possibility. I followed a couple of actual forecasters and they said straight away nothing pointed to a particularly poor winter - as it was it started off extremely dry and ended up a bit soggy.

FFS, peak temp last week was 38ºC (with like 80% humidity though) and now it's like I completely missed the end of summer!
 
No chance! Heating embargo continues to October at the earliest!

This morning I felt annoyed that for the first time in 3.5 months I have had to use the boiler to heat up the water, because the solar panels have not been able to do anything due to this stupid rain and cold temperatures.
