Yeah where I am yesterday and today has been perfect in the afternoon - sun out and just a pleasant amount of warmth that you can do stuff in. Sadly yesterday I had to work through most of it.

I am not complaining but its nothing near hot, had my vegan fur trapper hat on yesterday, brisk cool wind, it just a case of finding a sheltered nook to feel the strength of that sun

There studies that conclude that resistance to cold (and presumably intolerance to heat) are genetic i.e. natives of the north are better able to tolerate cold exposure than mediterranean etc types. I'm definitely one of the former

That's interesting. According to my DNA profile over 50% of me is from the Med. However 20% is from Nordic countries!

Heart breaking trying to grow your own food in this country, still poor temps all the time near mid April, not much sun ever, worst rain in 41 years for March and now strong wind and rain.
I try not to rely on shops for all my food but it makes you want to pull your hair out. Moan over.
