I turned on the aircon. Again. Heat just builds up inside with nowhere to go theres not even a breeze. Temperatures are really building for fri, sat and sunday with no real let up right thru next week cools slightly but still well over the "heatwave" threshold according to the met office.
 
I'm just about OK with the temperature at night (30c in the bedroom last night...) but being woken up at half 3 by a gnat hovering near me is getting tiresome really fast.
 
Supposed to get up to 32-33C now here today but it is pretty pleasant so far this morning. Trying to leave the windows open as long as possible to get the place cooled off.
 
Didn't sleep well Room dropped from 29c to 28c and today it's meant to be hotter 33c and high 20s into next week

Wouldn't be so bad if the temp dropped more during the night just to get the heat out
 
Think we've been quite lucky with this one down by the coast. Temps have hit 30c most days at peak but by 11pm it's dropping just back below 20c, last night was around 17c at 4am when I went and opened up all the windows to get some air in the house.

Upstairs is the main issue, downstairs genuinely feels pleasant for most of the day and evening.

That is lucky.. Just a bit further down the coast here and it didn't drop below 20c until 4am.
 
30°C in the shade at 10:00, ramping up to 40°c later, so I’ve trundled my recycling bin up to the collection point for the 6-7 houses in the area already for collection at sparrow’s tomorrow.
 
Looks like today is the peak of the heat over here and temps will start to drop gradually tomorrow and over the weekend.

Heat is being shunted to the west from tomorrow and over the weekend, so the south west region will get the higher temps.
 
Spare a thought for us gym rats who were doing squats/leg day yesterday in that heat....with NO air con or windows to open.

Still managed a PB of 185kg on the squat though :D
