Got a bit of an annoying problem at the moment. After months of ignoring the weekly iTunes update requests (if it aint broke dont fix it) last month I decided to update my iPod Touch 8GB software from 2 to 4.2.1. Great cos my wifi decided to disappear for a while so i got that back and at the same time I updated iTunes up to 10.5. Everything was fine got my music and videos synced up but now that i want to change what I'm listening to I plug in the iPod and nothing happens.
Windows / iTunes doesn't even recognise the iPod being plugged in. I had a quick search on the net and it came up with the suggestion of reinstalling iTunes. I did this and it worked once, possibly twice. Now i cant get it working at all so I'm stuck with the same songs all the time :o

Is there anyway to get round this issue or some other software I can use to sync music / videos / photos to my iPod?

Thanks

I use media monkey for transferring music to my old ipod touch, not sure on videos as I've never used it for that, same with photos.

Actually, the above isn't really that much help. Sorry.

Had another shuffle about to get this issue sorted out and by the looks of things the ipod hardware service was set to manual instead of automatic so it wasn't being recognised when I plugged it in. Appears to be working fine again :)
