itunes disc sorting

Re-doing my itunes library and trying to sort each album into discs.
Before hand if it was "disc 1 of 3" it would put togeather all of disc 1 then disc 2 etc
Now it's just listing them all as track numbers, eg 3 of track 1 etc.

I hope that makes some sense

anybody know how resolve this?

I've noticed this as well since iTunes 9. Now you have to sort your columns by 'Album' instead of 'Album by Artist' and it shows correctly.

is that applying the sort field? Does nothing.
Currently copying over onto ipod so hoping that is fine.
