iTunes help - Simple question

Think this goes in here as 'Other software'.

Basically in my iTunes folder, there is a different number of files than what the iTunes software is telling me - a good few hundred off. I fear i may have not added my entire music collection, missing things so is there any way i can either:

- Compare/Synchronise the iTunes folder and the iTunes software?
- See the 'Statistics' of iTunes so it shows me how many artists there are in total, tried selecting all but apart from that, i can't find an option?

in iTunes click on 'File' and then 'add folder to library'. Locate your music folder and click 'ok' and it should add everything in that folder (all MP3/AACS/WMAs)

So it only adds the files not there? I was reluctant to do that in case i screwed it all up.

It will only add files not present in your iTunes
