iTunes Problem

I have just bought an album from the iTunes store which is a compilation with 61 tracks. They have come down fine and all play, but even though they all have the same album name (checked, re-edited etc) I am seeing 61 albums all with the same name and 1 track each. Can anyone tell me how to sort this please as it really is doing my head in.

Cheers
Housey

Its usually because the Album Artist is the artists name.
I have the same problem, and highlight all the tracks and change the Album Artist field to "Various" or something like that.
Also, make sure the option for "Is part of a compilation" is ticked

Hope that helps!

Sorry to jump in the thread here, but I think I have a similar problem.
I have my music all stored in different folders (on one drive) that I created myself when I ripped the MP3's. ie. Band Name>Album. or for say a compilation: Compilation (eg rennaisance)>Compilation no (rennaisance 2)>Disc name rennaisance 2 disc1.

Can I get these to show up in itunes like they do in windows explorer?

Sorry if it sounds a bit mishap. :)

Sorry chaps but I have been through all the obvious stuff. I have loads of albums and compilations and they are all sorted, indexed and consolidated as they should be with the exception of this album.

I have double and triple checked the search and sort, I have edited, replaced and renamed the Album Name on all tracks. I have ticked the boxes to ensure it sorts as it should but presently I see 61 tracks, all with the same album name but all appearing as individual albums. Most annoying.

OM NOM NOM :D
glad I could help, i get this all the time with compilations, its a pain in the proverbial buttock

Thanks for the tip. Haven't had that problem yet but so nearly could have. Having made four failed attempts on my CD collection (400+ CDs) I added album artist tags to the most recent attempt. Didn't know I'd be using iTunes when I started, but then I got an iPhone. :)

Now if I could just sort out the album art.
