iTunes qustion

Hello,

Just formatted my laptop and installed win7 pro 64bit.

Installed itunes and connected my iphone and states i have used 4 out of my 5 authroized computers

Can someone explain what this means ???

What happens if i format again and reinstall and use my 5th computer authroize ?

In order to use purchased media (apps, iTunes music) you need to authorise your computer.

Now, you have 5 possible computers that can use this media. Once you reach the limit you have to reset the list.

It isn't affected by a re-format, but if you came over my house and signed in to your account and tried to purchase music it would ask for an authorisation. Do this 4 other times and you're quickly out of slots.

Nothing will happen when you get to 5 (like I said, you can reset the list) but remember to deauthorise your computer before reformatting/upgrading/selling and you're golden.
