Hi there

Having problems with itunes where it wouldn't let me open it so trying to reinstall and getting errors like these (The first two are whilst I'm installing, third error is when setup completes and I try to open quicktime)

Any help is much appreciated

Try running the install file as an Administrator (right click > run as admin) if you haven't already.

Disk utility and repair disk & Permissions perhaps?

Don't think there's an alternative to 'Repair Disk & Permissions' on Windows is there?

Although you could try something like CCleaner to remove any unwanted registry entries.

Are you the only user on the PC? And if not, are you using a 'Limited User Account'?

I am the only user on the pc and have an admin account.

I'd suggest removing anything related to Apple (iTunes, QuickTime, Bonjour), run CCleaner and then start again from the start and hope for the best.

Trying to remove apple mobile support but it comes up with reg errors and won't uninstall. Thanks for all your help so far mr.sly

Two things you can try.

You could try opening the registry editor and changing the permissions.

Or manually delete anything you can see related to Apple, then start again.

Hmm. I found an old installer from january and all works fine.. until it tries to update and the new version ***** it up again.
