Unfortunately it seems the grim reaper of TV shows may be picked to front it, ie Paddy McGuinness
RIP Bullseye then, dead in the water before it sets sail.

Still, we have memory that was..

Try getting away with that today with all the crybaby words hurt me brigade.
Some TV shows should just be left to fond memories and not rehashed.

We've been watching some of the re-runs late at night on Challenge over Christmas, can't beat a bit of Bully! It's a right blast from the past and surprisingly entertaining.

I always get optimistic when 90s TV shows return, but I can't help thinking that this is a bit forced. We just had the World Darts Championship which was won by Luke Littler, the youngest darts champion ever. This has got more people watching darts, so it could be off the back of that?

I hope it does well though.

Next up - Big Break?!

Didn't he come second, in the end......?

I remember they rebooted it with Dave Spikey hosting (think it lasted a year and that was it), for some reason anytime he said 'darts' it sounded like 'duts'.

Couldn't beat Jim Bowen as host, some of the stuff he came off with (as seen above) people would be outraged over today.

I remember when Bowen used to do a little talk before he came down the stairs as the show was starting where he read out 'letters from the audience', one time it was about how the star prize worked which they sort of sidestepped, they never did explain how 2 people winning a car, a caravan or a speedboat or a jet ski was meant to work, supposedly there was a cash alternative but what if one wanted the car or whatever and the other didn't? Not as if they would have 2 of each star prize or would fork out a car to whoever wanted the car and the cash alternative to the playing partner.

Big break was brilliant, but Jim Davidson was a huge part of its success. Unfortunately, TV won’t touch him with a 10ft barge pole these days.

I heard Gladiators is getting rebooted as well. I think we should leave these things as good memories. All our classic childhood memories are going to get rebooted, laughed at and ruined. I mean when you have Paddy presenting it....who makes these decisions to get Paddy to present stuff given his form. It's like....you really could not find ANYONE else? I guess nobody else will do it!

Ermm....he didn't win it.

I like how on the red/black board you could perfectly predict which prizes they would go for and in what order, based on whether the prize had an electric plug or not. And if it had a plug, was it audio/visual or kitchen. And if it was audio/visual did it have a screen etc, etc.

I also for some reason really like the "moo" they use to signify time running out, and often do moo myself, to indicate time running out on something.

I actually think Paddy McGuiness could be well suited for Bullseye, at least out of all the shows has has had his name down for at any rate.
