Asrock X370 Gaming-ITX/ac,

what the view of this board, at 150 is a little more than i wanted to spend but i do like an itx system.
would this board be ok to overclock a 1600/1700?

As far as I know it's the best itx board currently available for am4. You can get it in b350 for slightly less.

It's by no means perfect most notably poor vrm cooling but it's better than all of the other am4 itx board vrm heat sinks.

It has tons of clocking features in the bios And if you can keep the vrms cool it should clock well.

Good air flow over the board is essential but that goes for all itx boards really.

If you can stretch your budget the Asus strix itx is coming soon which will likely be the best am4 board to go for but it's likely to be around £170-200

Ya can O.C fine with Asrock itx , i had 3.9mhz / 1.394volts , When i had it ,
There 2 x CASE fan headers & 1 X CPU ,
Tip - You need to have PWN fans for the headers ,there is no 3 Pin control & they will run full speed ,Otherwise use a Fan control unit

Due to small Vrm heatsink ,keep to under 1.40 volts
Comes down on The CPU some can run under 1.40volts or much less & get 3.9mhz ,some cant
some of the 1700s can o.c to 3.9mhz stable with only 1.365Volts , my CPU sweet spot is 1.394volts
to get 3.9mhz , 3.8mhz still great to have
