Hi,

Hoping the fellow community can help me out.

I'm looking to put together a very low cost Mini-ITX build, to use as a NAS/File Server etc. I'm struggling to find a 'small' and cheap ITX case that will house upto 6 drives.

I really dont have much of a budget for the case, so looking at upto £50 and the case needs to be small, as I'll be tucking it under the sofa.

A HP Microserver N54L would have been perfect, but missed out on the offers and the prices on the bay are way more than I want to spend.

Thanks
Deej

Do you have all 6 drives as 3.5"? An Antec ISK600 can fit 3x 3.5" & 2x 2.5" drives. Other options include Bitfenix Phenom M/Mini, Collossus Mini, Fractal Node 304, but they are all over the budget.

Antec ISK600 is a great choice for an ITX case with plenty of HDD space.

I've got 4 x 2TB 3.5" and 2 x 250GB 2.5" (possibly just 1 x 2.5" drive) to fit into the case.

The Fractal Node 304 looks like it will easily fit the bill. And now the fun part, to find one for about £50.

OH, its you! I've been meaning to ask, in the ISK600 with x3 3.5" HDD, whats the CPU cooler clearence size? I know its 170mm without the HDD bracket, but when you factor in the bracket + bottom hanging HDD i'd like to know the size please.
