I've got two weeks off, spec me a grindy rpg/sandbox game

I wasn't a fan of turn based games until Divinity sin, the second one is also amazing if you do decide to try it out
Same here. Divinity Original Sin 2 is probably my all time favourite game and I had never been interested in turn based games until this. OP - if you are willing to spend a bit of time to learn the mechanics I think you will love it.

Factorio, just don't expect to get any sleep.

Hehe, definitely - first game since the early days of WoW where I've completely lost track of time; first time I played was on a private server with a few mates for "a couple of hours", next thing I know there's birds singing and it's getting light outside

Subnautica

Kingdom Come Deliverance.
These 2 I would strongly recommend.

In particular subnautica, one of the most perfect games imo.

It has base building and with a purpose. I think the one issue with these open base building, resource collecting games, is often they forget to have a great story with it. Subnautica had that, along with some truly horrifying moments, and a good balance of explore to progress while also getting hints along the way.

To have a game that has a clear ending is something I really require these days.
