OP: Have a go at re-seating your heatsink - after all there always the possibility that you applied to much TIM or did not tighten the heat sink correctly.
This thread sort of convinced me to redo my HSF, so I whipped it off, cleaned of the AS5 which I'd only put on a few weeks ago and used some OCZ Freeze. Normally I always spread the paste on with a stanley knife blade but the OCZ stuff just wouldn't spread properly so decided to go for the thin line down the middle, squish the HSF on and then rotate a few degrees. Boy am I glad I did, idle temps are down to below 40 and load temps now max out at 70. Suppose it could be due to the temps in the room being cooler but made me feel good
