Ive just hit 500 posts!!.

Found it in case anyone else is looking in the future

I've been on the forums for 20 years, but very much a browser rather than a poster now. I find it a bit annoying having to force myself to post to get my access back every few months. I just feel like it promotes spam.

I rarely ever looked in MM anyway and had no idea about the change. I only occasionally drop by, but I certainly wouldn't be bothering with such rules... as my 487 (now) posts show in the last 16 years.

I guess that maybe, if you're looking to buy/sell, then perhaps you'd be around more anyway.

Back to the OP... I haven't hit 500 yet. Getting close now though :D

No, still not working.
Ok well I'd assume there is a script/query which runs periodically on the server to determine who should have access, but have no idea what period that is, I'd give it an hour or two and check again - and if it's still not working by tomorrow then post again and hopefully one of the mods can advise

Everything is all about engagement now.

I do think it's a good thing that you need to be an established/frequent user of the forum to access the MM though

I do get that. But I feel there should perhaps also be a rule that if you've been a member for, let's say, 10+ years, then you get permanent access.
I've met many people from these forums, gone to meetups, had Raymond Lin as my wedding photographer, so it's a bit annoying to lose MM access when I don't post for a while.

Understandable.

But it also stops degenerates like me who've also been members for> a decade but only pop in when I need an upgrade from accessing the the market. Difficult problem to solve and I think 15 posts is a fairly reasonable solution

Your assumption about a script was right, it's found you, and you now have access to the hallowed halls of the MM, go forth, be happy, buy and sell; but read the rules first!

I remember the members market

I used to sell/buy back in the day,

how is it though that i have about 143 positive feedback. 0 Negative, then someone gave me one "neatural" feedback as i sold them a mouse which had a little bit of dust on it :D
