Ive never used headphones to PC game - how do I connect them?

The Grey output is for headphones - it's the standard colour for headphones.

I have 5.1 in green/orange/black, mic in pink, and headphones in grey - all works wonderfully, no need to swap out jacks for 'phones/speakers.

Of course, if you have shoddy drivers it might not work as well, but works fine on my onboard realtek :)

Interesting, I'm assuming this is a new feature as I'm sure the Soundblaster Audigy card I had when I bought the headset didn't have a dedicated headphone output socket.

Thanks for the posts and for Tefal coming to my defence :).

I will look into the above headsets. It looks like i've sorted out my Christmas list. I don't think I have the dedicated socket but I dont mind getting on my hands and knees plugging in the headphones when it gets late or the other half wants some piece :)

It is possible to connect the zs/x-fi music to front jacks but you need to make a cable.

I created a cable that takes audio and mic from my zs to a PCI blanking plate that ive mounted at the front of my Akasa Eclipse 62, its even possible to include a switch that can mute the main speakers.

all the details you need are here,

Thats a great idea. I have the same case and it would be worth doing the same to cut down the hassle. Thinking of it I have a couple of old PC in the garage with front ports. I reckon I could utilise those.

Cheers
