Been on holiday so not done any more wheel hunting, have been playing around in photoshop with these style of wheels... black (gloss, or matt) with a red rim...
Don't like white wheels, i had a set on my previous Corsa SRi, they look great when you car's parked up, but as soon as you move 2ft from where your parked, they get dirty, a nightmare to keep clean and nice!
Hehe, ok. Red and white > turquoise and white though
How about the style? Not sure what they are, and not sure if they'd look right on the 206, just they multispoke without too much spoke or too much space.
And I know about the shopping, just being annoying.
Dunno, at first look I didn't really like the black and red, but looking at it again, looks good...but then I like red cars with black wheels. Used to make at least one of my cars in NFS games red with black wheels.
Please dont get black and red wheels, just get either nimrods or 180s, keep it clean. Not only will it look better it will be easier when it comes time to sell.
Are you on a mission to create the ultimate chav chariot? Those wheels are horrible and the open design serves only to highlight how weedy those brakes are.
I think it looks better with the shopped " Black wheel red rim jobbys " than the 180's..
Even if the brakes look a little small.. you can always stick some bigger ones on off a 306 or 307 ( can't remember which ones fit the 206 )
Keeping everything looking standard is a bore sometimes.. its not a 180 so why make it look like one ? its more personalised with the black rims.. and It doesn't look chavvy

This particular mission isn't anywhere near as far as important as yours is to be a complete pain in the arse, posting no contributing content what so ever.
Brakes are fine, and are enough to stop the car. If i upgraded to 4 pots, brembo's etc i dare say your next reply would be "Whats the point, the cars not nearly powerful enough to require those brakes."
Its lose/lose with you, but then again, thats to be expected
Well no - I've said the OEM 180's are best in my opinion.
You need to chose wheels which suit the braking setup nicely. If you've got smaller brakes, pick a set of wheels which doesn't have lots of empty space which draw attention to them. It's not about upgrading them at all becuase like you said that would be pointless.
The 180's have quite wide spokes - these would mask the smaller appearance of the brakes and draw focus away from them.
