Hi guys im just wondering with all the new generation pc games coming out.
im thinking if i need 2 upgrade my cpu
its an ivy bridge i7 3770k
or should i b thinking 2 jump up?

Your CPU isn't worth upgrading unless you're running multiple GPUs. You'll only get small gains in gaming going to even a top end CPU.

I always use 1 gpu tbh so u reckon the 3770k is still a top cpu?

your CPU rocks, man. If you just gaming then you dont have to worry about CPU upgrading for at least 2 more years. Even if you run dual GPU at 8x-8x I still cant find the reason to upgrade yet.

As you can see, even at 4x 3.0 (equivalent 8x 2.0) the performance of GTX 980 only drops a couple of percentage (not really noticeable) compared with 16x 3.0.
