Office is incredibly powerful but so unintuitive it makes my ears bleed sometimes.
For basic word processing/spreadsheets iWorks is fine but for business or anything complicated you don't have much choice but to use Office.
Agreed! I did everything in iWork during college and it was absolutely fantastic for all of it. Especially for publishing some work, although what annoyed me was my project supervisor insisting on people sending him Word documents.
I was still using Pages '09 at the time, and saint documents in Word format would often mangle the document layout. While in PDF it was superb. Especially if you needed to send things to people using Windows.
