J batch 5820k

Well if you check my thread on 5820k chips just below, it seems the J batch is very well regarded, if not the best.

My J batch is currently 4.7ghz at 1.329v.

It will boot into windows at 4.9 at 1.349v and stay stable long enough for me to get a CPU-Z validation.

I didnt even know about batches until i read this. Mine is a Jbatch. Runs happily at 4.5ghz.

Not tried any higher.

When did you all buy your 5820Ks? J batch currently doing the rounds at OcUK? Want to upgrade to X99 but not in a huge hurry but don't mind starting early with just buying the CPU ;).

Mines an L batch 5930k. Running 24/7 4.5ghz 1.25v. Will do 4.7ghz 1.335v haven't really taken it above that though.

L443C361 here. No idea exactly how long ago it was made. Bought it second hand as part of a bundle. Only tried clocking it briefly with auto voltage, 4.5ghz resulted in 1.312v at load under XTU.

It was made in the 43rd week of 2014. L = Malaysia, 4 = 2014, 43 = the week.
It seems latter cpu are a bit better, especially L522 onward.
