Nope I dont throw my parts around but I also dont take too much protection as it is over the top (I prefer common sence) but then again I think he was a n00b and I was not 1 bit impressed with his videos, he is a child to me :cool:

I can truely see how it is common sense to risk having 30,000V of EMF head into your expensive components rather than spending £4 on an anti-ESD wrist strap.

How many instances of this have you actually heard of though?

Never on this forum have I heard of people killing a piece of hardware via static electricity, and 30,000v would be enough to set the motherboard alight
