i dont take anything seriously, its just youtube if full of random idiots countless posts about the same thing, i mean if its not giving you something extra, then it shouldnt be on the net, (at least i try to restrain myself from replicating already pointless things on OC forums)...

ie when i want to search about something, i search & get 1000000 results which are all pointless crap, and have to waste 2 hours trying to find something that offers useful info.. thats what is annoying :D

Loved that. I think i missed his very first vid when he reviewed Quake4, when there were some classic quotes.

I do agree that he now has an air of confidence/cockiness in his newer videos, but i think it adds to the intrigue that is Jacob Billing.

I say keep the videos coming, would like to see what he would say if he got a 3870X2 or 9800GX2, would probably explode at the fact they have 2 cores on them.

I remember the quake 4 video, everyone had sigs on this forum, some of them said something along the line of, blow some muthas lol and various other quotes from jacob :p
 
i think the "hate" here comes from an understandable place, to me at least.

Most of us here know our stuff and have a passion for it. When people come along shouting out ill-informed opinions yet do not know, or more to the point, do not really care to know how it really works, well, it ****es people off, especially those who are heavily invested in it and have put the effort in themselves. This vid seems to be invoking these types of feelings from some users here, and i don't think it's right to argue with them just because they feel that way, i can clearly understand it, and can clearly understand others thinking he's a legend.

It should have been expected that some people here would immediately think he's an idiot and not find it funny, and the argument of "hey, its just a youtube vid, chill out" crumbles because it was posted here, we aren't on you tube, it was a link, nothing more, which means you watch the vid from the viewpoint of an OCUK member in a hardware forum - that makes a difference.
 
I was thinking about him the other day, I wish his old vids were still around.

They were awesome.
 
How stupid.... 1 PC, 2 monitors is much more efficient, sure.. you cant go onto the deskto whilst in a game but still.. the power there is a waste.

Agreed, his new ones are quite boring as he seems to know his stuff now. He also doesn't talk the same and say anything worthy of quoting these days :D.

The guy must be minted the amount of hardware he has and gadgets.
