Had my 1st drive of the new Jag yesterday and not stopped smiling since.Shame the dealership that had it on loan from us had run the battery down so the roof wouldnt lift back up ;)

The new V8 is awesome and once the supercharger kicks in it's amazing. Will get some pics up once i get into the office on Monday for anyone that is interested.

Oh and whilst i have the Camera phone hooked upto the PC,what not to do to a Focus Titanium.Courtesy of 1 of our Heywood drivers :D

He fell asleep on the way back from Inverness.Although his story is,a deer ran out infront of him and he swerved to miss it!

No front end damage though!

Yeh of course it did :D

Should be getting my hands on a "Ford Team RS sorted" Focus S-Max on Tuesday and cant wait.Rumoured to have 240BHP but we shall see.

Well it better be a lot quicker than the last 1 we tested. That refused to start with approx 20 of the UK's top Motor press in attendance.

EGG,Face anyone.

Well considering AM,Jaguar,Land Rover all share the same design/development complex at Gaydon,Warks it's no suprise.

Iwill put some pics up of the interior on Monday,it has to be 1 of the most beautiful dash boards ive ever seen.Jaguar have really gone to town updating from the last model.

to be honest they had to as the last model looked like a old mans car.

Do superchargers 'kick in' I thought they spooled up with the engine, hence delivering much smother power then a turbo?

That's because it's not an XK150, it's an XK :p

It's supposed to be X150, not XK150. It's the code name they give each car. X100 the old XK, X350 is the new XJ, X400 the X-Type, X200 the S-Type. Heh, can remember those all from work experience at Jaguar Whitley Engineering centre.

I was thinking that, but I've never been in a Supercharged car, so can't really back that thought up.

Saying that, they don't even sell a Supercharged version yet do they? Unless you've driven the XKR that isn't on sale yet.
(You work for Jag/Ford I take it?)
