My iPhone is currently at the 4.2.1 and I tried to jailbreak it using the Greenpois0n jailbreak, followed the on-screen instructions.
Plug wire in.
Close itunes.
follow the onscreen steps which are;
Hold power button for 5 seconds.
Continue holding the power button, hold the home button also for 10 seconds.
release the power button, continue holding the home button for 10 seconds.
it's meant to go into debug/dev mode or whatever that white screen is called, but it just doesn't do that what so ever, i'm not sure what is going on.
Has anyone else had any trouble with this? any help or any other jailbreaks out there for iphone 3g? I really want to jailbreak. ;_;
