Jailbreaking...

Hi Guys,

Just a few questions on Jailbreaking

1) can I jailbreak my ipad 3 16gb

2) how hard / easy is it to do

3) can I permanlty screw up my device

4) can you get caught / what will happen if you do get caught

5) what sort of things can I do once jailbroken

1) can I jailbreak my ipad 3 16gb

- Depends on your current iOS version - Anything running iOS 6.1.3 or higher is not jail-breakable

2) how hard / easy is it to do

- As easy as downloading the software, connecting your device, and hitting "Jailbreak"

3) can I permanently screw up my device

- I've yet to hear about anyone bricking their phone/tablet - Even if it bricks, you can set it into DFU mode and reset your device.

4) can you get caught / what will happen if you do get caught

- Doesn't matter in the slightest - Jailbreaking isn't illegal

5) what sort of things can I do once jailbroken

- You can install tweaks and addons that will improve your experience - And you can change the look of your device using different themes/skins.
