I installed it by replacing the matching files in the iOS and not through winterboard. Its packaged on that link to use with WB though.

yep i can do :)

Finally put the finishing touches to BiteSMS/AppleSMS apps. It now completely matches the dark UI. All done completely by replacing the files in the iOS.

I didn't. They've been working on it for ages and its complex. They making good progress though. As for when its released...well, i don't think it will be in the next few days.

The guide will take a while guys as obviously its not a straight forward thing as it is using winterboard and i will have to break everything down so its easy for anyone to do. Last thing i want is anyone screwing up their iPhone (as that is what can happen messing about with iOS file system files - which could result in having to do a restore and rejailbreak)

I'm hoping it will all be done by Friday.
I'm discovering new things everyday :)

I'm pretty certain that Pod2g said it'd be a matter of days for his release of the A5 jailbreak... and he said that 2 days ago.

The old stuff was on the 3GS which i only got rid of when i bought the 4S. That was still running 3.1 lol. I'm trying to get the same dark look back on iOS5.

Make sure you save it as a PNG, and name it exactly as: SBDockBG@2x~iphone.png

Then upload it using iFile onto your phone to -> /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/

Then go to /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.springboard.sharedimagecache/Persistent and delete the [email protected]itmap file

Once you've done those two steps, respring and it'll be there :)

I'd reccomend just renaming the original SBDockBG@2x~iphone.png rather than deleting it though!

Made it using a random image of wood from google :p

The only thing i dont like about perspective docks like that is that the dock icons reflection messes it up and looks linear where as the dock is in perspective mode.
