Okay, in theory, this sounded like a good idea, a show to teach all those totally flowery metrosexuals, how to at least appear to have some degree of alphaness.

But honestly.. it is a big pile of steaming brown stuff.

Is it just me being a grumpy old man, or did James May, really miss the mark this time?

I missed the first 20mins of it but I quite enjoyed it, if a bit stupid in places i.e. the office train delivery system.

It was very dull, tried to watch it but just painfully dull. Flicked channels a few times but it just didn't get any more interesting.

It seemed.. pointless? I'll give it few more episodes just because it's James May but this might be a miss.

I thought it was alright. It's incredibly rare that I will watch anything on television, but I thought this was ok.

Good idea, poorly executed. I actually found the skipping back and forth a bit stupid and the subjects chosen were a bit boring. A mess, but an enjoyable enough mess.

Will still be watching next week as James May is awesome.

i enjoyed this last night , ok most of it was just pointless but it was just a bit of fun , and most was obviously set up like the bomb exploding.

cant wait for the next one:)

I really can't stand james may when he goes on about engineering things as if he wasn't just reading something scripted in front of him.

Just really annoys me for some reason.

I wonder why the new standards call for live to be brown. To me having red as live makes more sense, as the colour red conveys danger and energy (even though touching the live wire is I believe no more dangerous that touching earth or neutral if no circuit is completed).

Also brown looks like earth so brown should be earth, not live. The way I remember it now is that don't touch the live or your pants will turn brown, even though it makes little sense eletrically speaking, I remember it.

Blue as neutral, red as live, brown as earth makes the most sense to me.

Didn't watch all of it, the initial thrill of jumping between various bits of trivia soon wore off. The kind of programme that is meant to inform but gives you an intellectually empty feeling.
