I thought all manyoo fans rated Anderson.

In fact, isn't it just me that has always said he's cack?

...to the opposition.

That he's one of the best midfielders isn't a big thing, when you take into account that Carrick is probably the most complete midfielder they have and no-one at all seems to rate him.

Fletcher runs around a lot, Carrick passes sideways and backwards a lot, Anderson gives the ball away and generally looks out of his depth.

Picking the best from that lot is like picking the best tasting poo :)

Energy? Movement?

He's so slow he looks fat and lazy. Not to mention what a **** he looks when he tries no-look passes.

All in all he's a very, very average player and not good enough for a top side.

Playing nothing balls into a space with no-one occupying it is not better than passing sidewards to your winger.

Also: Xabi Alonso one of the best midfielders in the world?

Sheffield Wednesday have signed Sanchez Watt on loan until (mid) January :)

Not a bad deal really, he's good enough for league 1. I'd be a bit worried if they looked to sign him if they get promotion, he's too lightweight to step up IMO.

Anderson out til February, so that'll make them stronger anyway but they must sign someone now.

Looks like Beckham is joining PSG.

DM's point is easy to follow, and is accurate too. I know it's fashionable to argue whatever he says, but he's right in this instance (and that is more and more frequently).

Player's fee means nothing? Seriously?

Is that the only thing he's said? I'm sorry, I must've made up the fact that was only a tiny facet of what he posted.

Oh, and the fact that you only responded to a few words at the very end of his post, and ignored the rest of it because it didn't suit you.

Fees over years do mean little in real terms. The market fluctuates so much. Shearer cost Newcastle £15m, what would he cost today?

It's wages that's the important thing. He's right in saying that. He's also right in saying that paying the wage they do to someone that can only finish and can't really play football (IMO) and involve other players and so on limits the adapability of the side.

RvP is a better striker than both Rooney and Hernandez.

Rooney and Hernandez combined would be a sight to see though.

Manyoo are a much better side than Arsenal though :/

Let's compare them to City, make it more even :D

I didn't realise Suarez was all that wasteful.

Doesn't he create most of his own chances too?
