Japanese Grand Prix 2011, Suzuka Circuit - Race 15/19

Was looking t constrictors wprather than driver records.

Still we have to see bow it finishes. But so far it's not the most dominant.

Just watched it, what a muppet and love whit marsh. No, Lewis was told to hurry up and not let anyone pass.
Why did he slow down, he slowed down so much he took MSC by surprise and he had to go off the track.

Still long race, short on tyres. Game is on.

Generally mclaren is faster on heavy fuel than qualifying pace.
Or you can say it the other way that rbi is generally faster in qauli than the race.

Just seen this on twitter. I'm confused.

Still no official grid but Renault's @AlanPermane confirmed that they agree Kobayashi is seventh and have no problem with that

People not going out in Q3

But they did didn't they? I was still half asleep.

Nope you are right. So why then would they even put them higher up than Kob in the provisional Table.
But then it also says Kob hasn't set a time. I'm so confused. He went out and did a slow banker lap. I didn't dream that did I?

Agree tyre rules are retarded.
However qualifying is far less an issue for me, than the two tyre compound rule. It absolutely destroys strategy. Especially as fuels been taking out the equation.

Why not let someone do 1 stop bot on hards and someone else 3 stops on softs.

From LH on bored. It looks like MSC goes of because LH was doing about 2mph.

It's not the end of the world, but it's another mistake to add to the list and probably cost him pole.

Qualifying - Vettel snatches pole from Button by a whisker
Although McLaren had dominated all sessions prior to the crucial final one, Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel managed to clinch pole position by a mere nine-thousandths of a second at Suzuka on Saturday, just pipping Jenson Button to the top slot.

Well I don't think I'll be back in time. Haven't even started the job yet. So much for an easy night. Going to be at least 5hrs I wreckon from when we start.

Why wouldn't he risk it. He needs one point and in all likely hood zero points. He will still be driving all out for the win.

Of course, he will be totally focussed on the win. But, like you say he needs one point, so if say he is in 2nd or 3rd with 15 laps to go he has nothing to gain to go for it and try for the win.

That's not vettels style and he doesn't really need 1 point.
