Hi all,
I have a quick question that would love an answer to. So at work we all have around 4 screens hooked up to our crappy old pcs. We all run many java based GUI apps and recently our systems have been struggling to keep up. Theres severe "lag" between swapping through applications, load times etc
Now I was wondering if running java apps and SSD's have a correlation. I mean, I can probably be allowed to upgrade one part of the system due to budget constraints and was wondering if I would get better performance upgrading cpu, gpu or getting an SSD or even ram.
Most of our systems have between 8gb RAM and either a i5-4440 or a Xeon W3503
The other concern I have is SSD compatability with our old-ish systems. Havent checked what mobos we have yet, folks too busy working.
Any info would be great!
Ta.
