java jdk download

hi there,

Im trying to download java jdk and i keep receiving an "not authorised to download, please contact customer support error msg" from their site...

I have setup an account and have emailed them

Is this normal?

All you java enthuasists please can you let me know

You shouldn't have to login, but I'm getting this error as well.

I'd wait for them to get back to you.

meanwhile if anyone has a most updated recent version of the java JDK kit please can you upload it somewhere I can download

Hi, I downloaded Netbeans, and went to install it. Then it said I needed JDK, and when I tried to download it, I got the same message as you. I have sent off a email to them, but will have to wait a while.

I have the JDK 6 Update 17, probably a couple of months old if that's any good? I use it for J Creator.
It's about 67mb and 64bit.

Alternatively go to ninite.com as they have the JDK Update 21 available for download.

Just to let you know, the Sun site is up and running again. I did a download of JDK 6 U 21 at 12.30 today.
