Hi all.
went to leicester today for end of treatment chat with Jays consultant, and its all good

, his recent MRD scan showed no leukaemia.
Jay will go up once a month for the first year for a check up, they won't do blood tests every time, but will do if feeling ill, then the next year every two months then twice a year then yearly.
He had a blood test to check all sorts today, organ functions etc, and will have an appointment soon to check his heart, but his consultant isn't expecting any worries and also doesn't expect the leukaemia to rear its head again either. He is very happy with the way things have gone for Jay!
Basically he's expecting normal service to resume no growth problems, severly doubts infertility or any other cancer to arrise as a result of his illness, down to the reletively low levels of chemo and no radiocherapy.
It will be another 2-3 years before Jay is fully out of the woods, but fingers crossed its only time and no worries
